The Gold Coast’s Cooly Rocks On is Australia’s largest Classic Car nostalgia festival. This signature event in Queensland attracts thousands of visitors from all over to celebrate classic motors cars, music and of course the lifestyle of years past. The beachside location of Coolangatta comes to life across five action-packed days and fun night life.
For 2022, Cooly Rocks On will return with a huge lineup featuring the best rock ‘n’ roll, swing, rockabilly with many tribute artists from around Australia and some internationally acclaimed artists as well who are set to turn back the clock on Queenslands sunny beaches (hopefully sunny :)) as they dish out the tunes! In a unique offering, Cooly Rocks On will host the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. So Exciting !!!
Cooly Rocks On wouldn’t be the festival it is without celebrating our Classic Lifestyles. The festival hosts its very own Pin-up Pageant celebrating the classic and rockabilly styles, the Harvest Moon Swing Ball, a 1940s style show that provides plenty of time for Gals and Pals to dance the night away. But that’s not all! You’ll have the chance to buy retro goods, barn finds, nostalgia and memorabilia from the era’s of yesteryear at the Markets along the beachfront every day during the festival.
This festival also offers a strong classic motors offering, featuring over your vehicles on display across the festival with what is renowned as one of Australia’s best Show ‘N’ Shine displays, showcasing kustom vehicles, hot rods, Rat Rods, special art pieces and organised cruises around the coast.
